Banking Professionals Club
A Tribute to History with a Contemporary Approach.
Spatial Concept is proud to unveil the latest design for the prestigious Banking Professionals Club — a private clubhouse rich in history and tailored to the needs of finance professionals.
Heritage-Inspired Design
Drawing inspiration from Hong Kong’s 1950s and 60s architectural and cultural identity, the design incorporates materials such as wood reminiscent of mid-century roof panels and ceramic tiles found in historic Wan Chai buildings.
The reception sets the tone with terrazzo inlays in marble flooring and a vintage green palette, combining luxury with historical resonance. An abacus-inspired glass screen pays homage to the banking profession, while curved textured stone tiles nod to heritage architecture. In the dining area, rattan wall panels, wood, textured marble, and lush greenery create warmth and sophistication.
Honouring Legacy
Historical artefacts — photographs, handwritten documents, and the original stamp logo — are displayed in a controlled environment to safeguard them from humidity and UV exposure. These touches celebrate the legacy of Hong Kong’s oldest bank club, offering members a sense of pride and connection.
Versatility with Elegance
The club’s layout is designed for flexibility: a general dining hall, four combinable VIP rooms, and two private dining rooms equipped with projector screens and TVs allow the space to transition from a fine dining venue to a setting for town halls, seminars, and social events.
To address the lower ceiling height, a bespoke glossy cove ceiling creates the illusion of height, achieving a refined, open feel without sacrificing comfort.
Designed for Connection
With seating for 100, the club fosters community and shared experiences — a place where history and modernity meet through thoughtful design and meticulous craftsmanship.
This project reflects Spatial Concept’s commitment to creating bespoke, people-focused spaces that honour legacy while meeting the demands of today.
